You can remove the canister from the main stick to use it as a handhold vacuum on stairs, curtains, and upholstery. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a cordless vacuum – it’s just that Shark has managed to remove the charge limitations usually associated with these vacuums with its 2X system. In our review of the SharkIonFlex 2X, we found it ticked just about every box when it comes to user-friendly design. You can easily change the modes of this machine for every cleaning situation. The suction speed and power can be changed to match the surface you’re cleaning and you can take advantage of Shark’s MultiFLEX technology to reach under furniture without bending. The IONFlex 2X can also be transformed into a handheld device when you need to.

Powerful Suction – The IONFlex 2X may have the best suction of any cordless vacuum cleaner on the market in 2020. It can maintain its powerful suction for up to 50 minutes of continuous cleaning with just a short break to swap batteries. You can also adjust the suction to match the surface you’re cleaning with a flip of a switch – speed up the suction for carpet and slow it down for hard surfaces. It’s important to remember to have the back-up battery charging as you go through, as it does take 3.5 hours to charge a drained battery.
